In recent years, China’s new energy industry has experienced rapid development. New energy equipment such as wind power and photovoltaic systems have been widely adopted, and the installed capacity has consistently ranked first in the world. As the industry accelerates its upgrade and equipment undergoes replacement and renewal, new energy equipment will soon face the issue of large-scale decommissioning. To fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and thoroughly carry out the relevant arrangements outlined in the “Action Plan for Peaking Carbon Emissions by 2030,” we hereby put forward the following recommendations to accelerate the establishment of a waste recycling system and promote the circular utilization of decommissioned wind power and photovoltaic equipment.
