According to a recent monitoring report released by the Global Energy Monitor (GEM), China’s installed capacity of utility-scale wind and photovoltaic power projects under construction—counting only projects with capacities of 20 MW or more—accounts for two-thirds of the global total.

State Council White Paper: China’s installed offshore wind capacity reached 37.69 million kilowatts, ranking first globally for four consecutive years.

On July 11, the State Council Information Office released the white paper titled "China's Marine Ecological Environmental Protection." Excluding the foreword and conclusion, the white paper is divided into seven sections: Building a Harmonious Ocean-Ecosystem Coexisting with Humanity; Coordinating and Promoting Marine Ecological Environmental Protection; Systematically Addressing Marine Ecological Environmental Issues; Scientifically Carrying Out Marine Ecological Conservation and Restoration; Strengthening Supervision and Management of the Marine Ecological Environment; Enhancing the Level of Green and Low-Carbon Development in the Marine Sector; and Conducting All-Round International Cooperation on Marine Ecological Environmental Protection.

State Grid: In the first half of 2024, newly installed capacity of wind and solar renewable energy reached 96 GW, representing an 18% year-on-year increase.

On July 11, State Grid Corporation of China held a press conference in Beijing to announce the "2024 Report on State Grid Corporation of China’s Services for High-Quality Development of New Energy," which provides an overview of new energy development within State Grid’s operating areas, summarizes the company’s achievements in supporting high-quality development of new energy, analyzes the current trends in new energy development, releases State Grid’s initiatives and calls to action for serving new energy development, and introduces relevant progress in deepening the construction of the electricity market.

Announcement of Tender for the Selection of the 2024 Annual Audit Accounting Firm by Jiangyin Hengrun Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.

In accordance with relevant regulations, including the Ministry of Finance’s “Administrative Measures for the Selection of Accounting Firms by State-Owned Enterprises and Listed Companies” [Cai Hui [2023] No. 4], our company plans to launch a project to select an accounting firm for the 2024 annual audit. We will conduct an invitation-based bidding process following the principles of “openness, fairness, impartiality, and honesty and good faith,” inviting qualified bidders to submit their bids.

Fifteen ministries and commissions have formulated and issued the "Implementation Plan for Establishing a Carbon Footprint Management System."

The Implementation Plan points out that by 2027, a preliminary carbon footprint management system will be established. A national general standard for calculating the carbon footprint of products, aligned with international practices, will be formulated and released. Around 100 standard rules for calculating the carbon footprint of key products will be developed and promulgated. A preliminary database of product carbon footprint factors will be established. A preliminary system for product carbon footprint labeling, certification, and tiered management will be put in place. Furthermore, positive progress will be made in aligning the carbon footprint rules for key products with international standards.
